Bangamela 2009, the 11th Annual Bangamela utsab, sponsored by the Mid America Bengali Association (MABA), will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, hosted by the Bengali Association of Greater Atlanta (BAGA), on July 17, 18, & 19 2009, at The Gwinnett Center for Performing Arts.

Our theme for Bangamela 2009 utsab is "probaase baangaalee mon," which literally translates to "Bengali mind in a foreign country."  This event will promote multicultural enrichment in the Mid-America region through programs, forums, cultural, and business exchanges between North America, India, and Bangladesh.  Atlanta is called the "New Capital of the South", and has served as a magnet for talented professionals from all over the United States and abroad.  We are very proud to host this event, so please come and join us in this celebration.
